There, I post this. And then go to bed. 

I have no recollection why we went to the zoo on this day, but it rare for us to go on a weekend, and take Daddy—even more rare than the sunshine and warm weather we had that day. 

Wesley and Kyla waltzed during dance time in the zoomazium, where we spent a lot of time.  I tell him this all the time, but Dwayne was still surprised how few animals we saw that day.

This guy really inspired us.

We can have kids and cats.

We can have cats and hamsters.

We can have hamsters and kids.

But we can’t have hamsters, kids, and cats.

About a month after Lucky’s demise, I allowed Piper to use her own money to buy one more hamster.  This one was a cute dwarf named Sweetie. 

She lasted almost two weeks, with only a few close calls. 

We’re done with hamsters.
