It’s technically a Rip-Stick, but the kids call it like they see it—wiggle boarding. 

Piper has really taken to it. That kid can really persevere when she wants to—now she’s probably as good as I am.  She worked and worked to start on her own, to turn, to carve.  Go surfer girl! 

Forgive me if I think my kid, even through a broken camera lens, is kinda cute.  His baby blues make my Mother’s Day!

So did his gift—a book of poems from kindergarten.

Dwayne made a little something special for Mother’s Day Dessert—his famous crème brulee, with raspberries and mint leaves.  Thanks, Babe!

Somehow, Wes was the only one on camera today, but he didn’t like the red and green on his.  Simple tastes.

Bathrobes + underwear = something wild.  I forget if they were bears or tigers or badgers, but they were fiercely….funny.

My parents were about to leave for a few weeks for their May Va-Cay, so we gathered at the homestead to let Mom feed us, entertain us, and clean up after us.  The best part (besides the last 3 things)?  Cousins were there!
