How to Play with Cousins

Three of the K cousins have birthdays in winter, so we went down to Oregon to bring the party down there. Piper, Wes, and Littlest cousin got to share a cake, play time and lots of walking and good food (and even grandparent time!).

First, we celebrated Pipers’ 15th. Calvin and Hobbes like, she made horrible faces for 10 pics, so this is what I’m left with:

She does much better when she’s the role model for younger cousins. I especially laughed when she was trying to cajole cousins to put things away, which is rich coming from my least cooperative offspring. Karma comes early, Baby!

These two (she says shaking her head, trying not to laugh):

It’s funny to see glassless Piper now, because it was just days later when she picked up her first prescription–we were way overdue!

Something I remember best about this trip was Wes and Amber being walking buddies–it was so good for Wes to have a cousin look to him as the fun, big cousin and he’s growing into that role.
